Hi
The trip to Childers is just me and a couple of friends we are happy to bring back a review about the place for you guys with the view to help organising a day trip if there is enough interest. These friends and i have just returned from a weekend in sydney where we went every day to the 3 day Castle Hill expo we also attended the formal dinner with reptile speakers and the bbq dinner with over 200 herp enthusist we also fitted in a 5 hr visit to the wildlife park in Darling Harbour and and a 5 hr visit to reptile park in Gosford (which you get in for free when you flash your Qld Herp Soc Card ) the following day we managed to take over 500 pictures each of which very few have people in them Best thing we learnt is it is so much fun going to reptile parks with passionate people because when you want to spend 20 min watching a frill neck lizard or a monitor no one cares they're too busy themselves with their own daydreams of future arrivals to their home
BTW i came home with a want for a Perenti  but the knowledge that i'd be better off with a Spencers  Grin
